The easiest way to arrive in Tivoli by car is using the Highway A24. The exit is Tivoli, then follow the road signs towards Tivoli. It is about 8 km from the exit of the highway.

PARKING AND DRIVING IN TIVOLI

The whole area of the historical center of Tivoli has very strict rules about driving and parking. This area is known as ZTL (Zona a Traffico Limitato), which literally means Limited Traffic Zone. Only cars with special permits are allowed to drivie and park within its limits.
The ZTL is surrounded by several ‘access passages’ which are controlled by telematic doors and marked by special signs. These access passages are equipped with devices that automatically ID the license plate of the car and send the information to a central data base.

Our guests can reach the apartments Domus Aefula and Domus Albula in Via de’ Sosii without entering in ZTL. The Apartment Casa Al Trevio is in the pedestrian area.

There are two public parking lots near our apartments. The nearest one is in Largo S.Angelo and costs 1€ every 3 hours. The other one is in Piazza Matteotti, 1€ per hour. To arrive in Largo S.Angelo, follow the direction to Villa Gregoriana that is just on the opposite side of the parking.

On the sides of the roads most of the parking places are marked with the blue line and payment is required usually from 8 to 20, but please read the instructions near parking places.

You can also find a large free parking near the Hospital in Lungoaniene Impastato, on wednesday there is the weekly market and all cars have to be moved away. This parking is less than 10 minutes walking from our apartments.
